Relevant de la Directrice nationale des opérations, fret maritime, le/la Superviseur(e) des exportations maritimes est responsable de la gestion des processus de l’équipe et de la supervision des opérations quotidiennes d’exportation maritime, en veillant à ce que les expéditions soient traitées avec précision et livrées dans les délais. Exigences:

  • Minimum de 5 ans d’expérience en exportation maritime ou en transit international
  • Minimum de 2 ans d’expérience en gestion ou en supervision d’équipe
  • Expérience dans un environnement logistique multimodal et à rythme rapide
  • Solide connaissance des opérations de transport et de la documentation d’exportation
  • Familiarité avec les règlements d’exportation américains, de la TSA, de la FMC, des douanes américaines, ainsi qu’avec les procédures locales de courtage
  • Bilinguisme (anglais et français)
    • Maîtrise de l’anglais obligatoire, ce poste impliquant des communications avec le Canada et les États-Unis (80 %)

Mandate:

Reporting to the National Operations Manager, Ocean Freight, the Ocean Export Supervisor is responsible for managing team processes and overseeing daily ocean export operations, ensuring shipments are processed accurately and delivered on time. Responsibilities include supervising the team, coordinating shipments, managing customer relationships, and ensuring the efficient delivery of ocean freight services to Delmar clients. The Ocean Export Supervisor also communicates effectively with clients, both over the phone and in writing, to maintain client satisfaction and achieve company goals and targets. In addition, this role is responsible for resolving client issues, maintaining positive relationships with clients and relevant government authorities, and ensuring compliance with all export regulations and company standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in ocean export or freight forwarding
  • Minimum 2 years of team leadership or supervisory experience
  • Experience in a fast-paced, multi-modal logistics environment
  • Strong knowledge of freight operations and export documentation
  • Familiarity with US Export, TSA, FMC, and customs regulations, as well as local brokerage procedures
  • Bilingual (English and French)
    • Fluency in English is mandatory as this role deals with Canada and US (80%).
