As an IT practices and products subject matter expert, you will be an essential cross-sector resource person. You’ll play a critical role in the consistency, quality and evolution of our IT practices, notably through your ability to anticipate changes and improve practices. You will actively contribute to supporting teams, continuously improving processes and ensuring the success of the organization’s initiatives, while providing a simple, efficient user experience aligned with users’ real needs. You will act as a subject matter expert for our IT practices and products, including the IT portal, service request management, the catalogue, the service centre and knowledge management. You will play a central role in the evolution, optimization and quality of solutions, working closely with product owners and IT teams. You will also support the continuous improvement of our practices, in line with the Access IT Administrative Department’s execution plan. You’ll make sure that the proposed solutions take user experience (UX) principles into account, promoting accessibility, seamless user paths, clear information and user-friendly services. More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Act as a cross-sector point of contact for our IT practices, particularly regarding the ServiceNow platform
  • Ensure the consistency, alignment and quality of practices across different teams
  • Help analyze needs, assess feasibility and make recommendations for initiatives or projects
  • Actively help with validation activities, including planning and conducting user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Collaborate with various teams and partners to ensure consistent, efficient evolution aligned with the execution plan
  • Support the Agile implementation of initiatives and facilitate communication between players
  • Anticipate needs and be proactive in improving our products and solutions (for example, upgrades, releases)
  • Identify and propose optimization opportunities to support continuous improvement and the maturity of practices.

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience
  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Experience in a project context and with Agile methodologies (feasibility analysis, recommendations, coordination)
  • Experience with testing, including user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Proficiency in IT environments and tools, including ServiceNow and the Access IT portal
  • Knowledge of how solutions work and associated IT practices
  • Knowledge of user experience (UX) principles
