We are looking for a motivated and intellectually curious candidate with an interest in automation and control equipment in an industrial environment. The candidate must demonstrate initiative and autonomy. We are seeking a recognized team player with the ambition to learn and grow. The candidate will be involved in various stages of a project, ranging from document production to equipment commissioning.

Responsibilities

  • Support engineers in the creation of engineering documentation (electrical drawings, input/output lists, etc.).
  • Participate in the programming of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and human-machine interfaces (HMIs).
  • Assist in the implementation of performance indicators within our historian software.
  • Support engineers and work with electricians during electrical installation work.
  • Take part in the integration of sensors, actuators, variable frequency drives, etc.
  • Document testing and configuration procedures during commissioning.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and industrial regulations.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot automated system failures.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of automated systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's student in Electrical Engineering or Automated Production Engineering – T2-T3.
  • Knowledge of Rockwell Automation PLC platforms (ControlLogix and SLC500) is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Rockwell Automation HMI suite (FactoryTalk View) is an asset.
  • Knowledge of the PI Vision historian suite by OSIsoft is an asset.
  • Knowledge of EPlan software is an asset.
  • May be required to undergo a pre-employment medical examination.
