Job Description

The Role

At a pivotal moment of transformation, we’re bringing in a Strategic Advisor to partner directly with the EVP, Chief People Officer & Corporate Affairs - someone who can help shape priorities, drive alignment, and keep execution moving.

This is a senior, high-trust role for someone who’s comfortable operating in complexity and ambiguity, and who knows how to turn direction into action. You bring focus where there’s noise, structure where things are still forming, and momentum where it matters most.

As a Strategic Advisor, to EVP, you act as both a thought partner and an operator. You help frame the right questions, challenge and refine thinking, connect dots across teams, and ensure strategy translates into clear, actionable outcomes.

You operate at the intersection of strategy, operations, and leadership—anticipating needs, aligning stakeholders, and keeping priorities on track in a fast-moving, evolving environment.

It’s a role for someone who wants to be close to decision-making, influence how things come together, and play a tangible part in shaping what’s next.

What you’ll do:

  • Partner directly with the EVP to structure and analyze strategic organizational topics
  • Develop clear, concise decision materials, executive briefs, and high-impact presentations
  • Help define priorities, clarify trade-offs, and support decision-making
  • Coordinate and track cross-functional initiatives across HR, Transformation, Communications, Legal, and executive teams
  • Ensure alignment, identify risks, and manage interdependencies across workstreams
  • Work closely with the Chief of Staff and Transformation Office to ensure consistency and momentum on key priorities
  • Support ongoing organizational transformation, including evolution of the HR model and broader operating model
  • Strengthen governance and decision-making processes to improve clarity, speed, and organizational discipline

Qualifications

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in strategy, internal consulting, or transformation roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study
  • Strong analytical and structuring skills with the ability to synthesize complex information clearly
  • Excellent judgment, discretion, and ability to operate autonomously
  • Strong political acumen and ability to influence without formal authority
  • Clear and effective communicator, both written and verbal
  • Fully bilingual (English/French), with the ability to work with stakeholders across Canada

What Success Looks Like

  • The EVP is well-supported, focused, and equipped to make high-quality decisions
  • You both work in close partnership as a well balanced team
  • Priorities are clear, aligned, and actionable across teams
  • Key initiatives are well-coordinated, with strong visibility on risks and dependencies
  • Improved alignment between strategy, structure, and execution across the organization
