As a Staff Product Manager at Orum, you will be a catalyst for change and innovation, driving growth and shaping our product's future. You will empower sales teams with compelling products and features, create vision and strategy, collaborate with key stakeholders, and lead cross-functional teams to achieve Orum's goals. In our hyper-growth environment, you will define product requirements, leverage data to inform decisions, and manage product releases to maximize impact.
At Orum, you will have autonomy, make a significant impact, and collaborate closely with Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success. This role requires 8+ years of product management experience with a customer-facing B2B product and a strong understanding of SaaS businesses. Key Responsibilities
- Own key business goals and develop a compelling vision and strategy that achieves Orum's business objectives and growth goals while solving for Orum's customer needs.
- Lead stakeholders across Orum to shape the product roadmap, prioritizing initiatives by business and customer value
- Rally cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success, around the product vision, emphasizing the impact on user satisfaction, revenue growth, and customer retention.
- Define product requirements to ensure the right balance of business impact and build complexity. Work closely with designers and engineers to create elegant solutions to our hardest problems.
- Own both quantitative and qualitative research for your product area, leveraging insights to inform product direction with a keen eye on how it impacts Orum's goals. Use data to measure the success of releases and share results with the team.
- As a Staff Product Manager, you'll be expected to own business goal areas, provide significant leverage to the VP of Product in driving results, and be a visible leader in communicating progress to Orum's executives and teams.
Must-Have
- 8+ years of product management experience with a customer-facing b2b product.
- A clear understanding of B2B and/or SaaS businesses and experience collaborating with sales, operations, marketing, and customer success functions.
- Demonstrated experience in high-growth startup environments within a competitive landscape, driving impact in rapidly evolving settings.
- Ability to develop product roadmaps managing competing priorities.
- Experience leveraging qualitative and quantitative data to make product decisions and measure impact.
- Experience mentoring other product managers and implementing new processes in product development teams.
- Intrinsically motivated and self-managing with effective communication skills for users, engineers, designers, and internal stakeholders.
- Comfortable with failure.
- Evidence-guided prioritization skills, and the ability to say “no” while explaining why in terms stakeholders understand.
- Excellent documentation skills, ensuring proper communication and alignment with business objectives.
