Agility Robotics is a pioneer. Our robot, Digit, is the first to be sold into workplaces across the globe. Our team is differentiated by its expertise in imagining, engineering, and delivering robots with advanced mobility, dexterity, intelligence, and efficiency -- robots specifically designed to work alongside people, in spaces built for people. Every day, we break through engineering challenges and invent new solutions and capabilities that will one day make robots commonplace and approachable. This work is our passion and our responsibility: our mission is to make businesses more productive and people’s lives more fulfilling.

About the role:

As a Staff Global Supplier Manager – Electronics, you will lead the global sourcing and commodity strategy for critical electronics components powering Agility Robotics’ humanoid platforms. You will own categories such as PCBAs, cable harnesses, sensors, power electronics, and control systems, ensuring supply assurance, cost competitiveness, and long-term scalability across development and production phases.

This is a strategic and technical leadership role requiring deep knowledge of electronics manufacturing, cost structures, and supplier ecosystems. You will partner closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Product teams to influence design decisions, drive cost efficiencies, and secure a resilient, high-performance electronics supply chain.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for electronics commodities including PCBAs, cable harnesses, sensors, and power electronics.
  • Collaborate early with Engineering to influence component selection, ensure DFM/DFT compliance, and align cost, performance, and manufacturability.
  • Lead supplier identification, selection, and qualification across global regions, evaluating technical capability, quality systems, and scalability.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, driving continuous improvement in cost, quality, and delivery.
  • Champion cost modeling and clean-sheet analysis to establish cost transparency and drive competitive pricing.
  • Negotiate strategic supplier agreements covering pricing, terms, quality standards, and delivery performance.
  • Drive cost-reduction and value-engineering initiatives through design optimization and sourcing leverage.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by ensuring electronics components are sourced and ready in line with program schedules and targets.
  • Develop and maintain supply risk assessments and business continuity strategies for critical electronic components.
  • Mentor Global Supply Managers, guiding them in cost analysis, supplier management, and strategic sourcing fundamentals.
  • Collaborate with CMs, JDMs, and ODMs to ensure components are sourced on time, on cost, and on spec per the Supplier Plan of Record (SPOR).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related technical field; advanced degree (MBA or MS) preferred.
  • 8+ years of procurement or supply-chain experience, with at least 5+ years focused on electronics sourcing or commodity management (PCBA, harness, sensors, or power electronics).
  • Proven experience managing global electronics suppliers and contract manufacturers (CMs/ODMs).
  • Strong understanding of electronics manufacturing processes (SMT, wave solder, potting, coating, testing, etc.) and cost drivers.
  • Deep experience in should-cost analysis, cost modeling, and supplier cost breakdowns.
  • Familiarity with NPI processes, change management, and engineering collaboration in a product development environment.
  • Skilled in negotiation, supplier performance management, and long-term strategic sourcing.
  • Experience using MRP/ERP systems and supplier management tools.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (up to 35%).
