What You'll Be Doing

  • Build modern web applications that are responsive, performant, and accessible

  • Making key decisions on frontend architecture

  • Writing integration and unit tests

  • Learning the latest front-end technologies and standards to ensure we are always using the best tools and techniques possible

  • Drive creation and maintenance of API contracts between front-end and backend systems

  • Continuously improve our engineering processes, tools, and systems that allow us to scale the code base, productivity, and the team

What You’ll Need

  • Minimum 6+ years of professional responsive front-end development experience

  • Work in a collaborative environment and partner with other cross-disciplinary teams

  • Expert in Javascript and front-end technologies, such as TypeScript, React, Next.js, HTML5, and CSS3

  • Extensive experience with JavaScript testing libraries, including Jest and React Testing Library

  • Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs with an eye for good contract design

  • Strong working knowledge of Figma

  • Heavy bias towards usability and user experience

  • Eligible to work in Canada

  • Experience at an early-stage or fast-growing startup
