We’re looking for a driven, collaborative, and analytical leader to join our Operational Excellence Team. This is a unique opportunity to make a measurable impact by shaping how we work, think, and grow. This position is a hybrid role located in the central region

Position Overview: The Operational Excellence professional is responsible for identifying and executing against performance improvement opportunities, enabling successful transformations across the enterprise, and using contemporary process improvement techniques while building people capabilities. They effectively and passionately lead Lean Six Sigma projects aimed at enhancing efficiency, eliminating waste, reducing defects, and improving overall quality.

As a key member of our Operational Excellence team, reporting to the Director of Operational Excellence, you’ll play a pivotal role in transforming how we operate across the Central Region (Mississauga and Vaughan). This role is ideal for a results-driven leader who thrives on solving complex problems, empowering teams, and delivering sustainable improvements.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead high-impact Lean Six Sigma projects that drive measurable improvements in efficiency, quality, and cost

  • Build and mentor high-performing teams, equipping associates with the tools, training, and mindset to solve problems and lead change

  • Design and maintain performance dashboards that provide real-time insights and support data-driven decision-making

  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, embedding Lean principles into daily operations and long-term strategy

  • Collaborate with regional leaders to streamline processes, align on KPIs, and standardize best practices across Canada

  • Drive innovation and operational excellence, ensuring every improvement initiative delivers value to our customers and the healthcare system

Your Contributions to the Organization:  

Lead High-Impact Lean Six Sigma Projects

  • Drive improvement initiatives that align with business goals and key performance indicators

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and execute process improvement opportunities

  • Apply DMAIC and Kaizen methodologies to solve operational challenges, reduce waste, and enhance quality and efficiency

  • Quantify project outcomes, prepare executive-level reports, and present results, risks, and ROI

  • Support change management efforts and foster stakeholder engagement to ensure sustainable success

  • Use visual management tools and dashboards to track performance and support Tiered Accountability

Build Capability & Foster a Culture of Continuous Improvement

  • Deliver Lean Six Sigma training and coach employees at all levels to build problem-solving capabilities

  • Facilitate Kaizen events, A3 thinking, and root cause problem-solving sessions

  • Mentor Kaizen Leaders, White Belts, and Yellow Belts to strengthen internal CI expertise

  • Support leaders in embedding Tiered Accountability and standard work practices

Enable Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Design, build, and maintain performance dashboards (e.g., Power BI) to provide real-time operational insights

  • Support performance management through standardized reporting and analytics that drive action and accountability

This Job might be for you if: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, science, or a related field (Industrial Engineering preferred)

  • Experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Distribution environments

  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience leading continuous improvement or operational excellence projects.

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred (or willingness to complete through our internal Black Belt program), Certified Yellow or Green Belt as an asset

  • PMP certification is an asset

  • Familiarity with WMS, ERP systems, and process automation tools is a strong asset

  • Experience building and maintaining performance dashboards to support data-driven decision-making

  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency, excellent time management, and the ability to thrive in both team-based and independent work environments

  • Skilled in facilitation, presentation, and change management

  • Project Leader – You can manage regional initiatives using Hoshin Kanri, ensuring alignment, accountability, and results across teams.

  • Operational Optimizer – You can streamline warehouse and distribution processes to eliminate waste, reduce defects, and boost productivity.

  • Insight Generator – You can turn data into action through dashboards, KPIs, and scorecards that empower leaders to make informed decisions.

  • Collaborative Influencer – You can build strong partnerships across regions, promoting best practice sharing, standardization, and a unified approach to excellence.
