Sr Quality Automation Engineer

We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our team in Canada, where you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and scalability of our technology platforms.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks for web-based applications

• Build and execute automated test suites across UI, API, and database layers

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable fast and reliable feedback

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve automation issues, including flaky tests and environment inconsistencies

• Collaborate with software engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle

• Define and implement automation strategies based on risk, business impact, and system complexity

• Continuously improve testing frameworks, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency and coverage

• Support release readiness by ensuring appropriate test coverage and quality gates are met

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members on automation best practices

• Strong experience in QA automation for web applications with hands-on technical expertise

• Advanced proficiency with Selenium WebDriver or comparable browser automation tools

• Experience designing or improving automation frameworks with a focus on scalability and maintainability

• Solid understanding of API testing and database validation within an automation strategy

• Practical experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, with the ability to improve automation reliability

• Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams

• Ability to influence quality practices and contribute to technical decision-making

• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
