Reporting to the Brand Building and IMC Director, the Sr. Manager, Brand Building and Foodservice, Foodservice is a dynamic marketing leader and strategic business partner to the NA Potato and Apps marketing teams. This person plays a pivotal role in shaping our Foodservice brand strategies, fostering critical relationships, and driving executional excellence. An integral member of the McCain marketing team, this change agent will work closely with brand marketers to influence, educate, guide, and consult on their brand briefs, integrated marketing plans, media plans, measurement opportunities, partnerships, and agency relationships.
What You'll Be Doing...
  • For all brand-equity-building Foodservice brands (McCain, Anchor): Lead and design all creative and integrated marketing communications for from brief to creative production, including channel plan, earned, and brand acts where applicable.
  • For Foodservice product-focused comms (SureCrisp): Lead and shepherd the internal teams through the integrated marketing process, including budget, timelines, and deliverables, channel plan (paid/earned/owned media), production.
  • Integrated Planning Process: You'll execute an Integrated Planning Process for our Foodservice brands. From initial briefs to post-campaign reporting, you'll lead the equity comms and guide the product teams through a seamless journey, ensuring alignment and balancing effectiveness with efficiency.
  • Crafting Inspiring Briefs: Collaborating with the brand teams, you'll write concise yet inspiring Foodservice briefs for our agency partners. These briefs will align with consumer needs, brand ambitions, and business challenges, ultimately driving impactful creative and marketing programs.
  • Ensure Strong Brand Media Plans: Help identify strong audience targets through deep understanding of consumers including their media consumption habits, and oversee total brand media plans for synergies/opportunities.
  • Build Influential Relationships: You'll foster influential relationships with both internal and external partners. By collaborating closely, you'll ensure our Foodservice brands benefit from best-in-class programs and gain a competitive advantage.
  • Effective Communication: You'll influence, lead, and build relationships with authority and credibility. Key stakeholders, including Foodservice Brand Marketing, Consumer Insights, Shopper Marketing, and agency teams, will benefit from your strategic recommendations.
  • Executional Excellence: Your leadership will drive executional excellence, leading productive teams, ensuring timelines are met, facilitating crucial conversations, and connecting the dots across the Integrated Agency Team (IAT). Your goal? Ensuring all teams succeed and have a seat at the table.
  • Marketing Landscape Insights: Educating brands on Foodservice marketing landscape insights and trends will be your forte. You'll guide them on evolving for greater marketing effectiveness through media, shopper marketing, and brand promotion.
  • Campaign Effectiveness Learning Agenda: In partnership with Brand Teams and Consumer Insights, you'll develop and execute a learning agenda for Foodservice campaign effectiveness. These insights will be shared and reapplied across our brands.
  • Data-Driven Thought Leadership: As a thought leader, you'll champion data-driven marketing best practices. Collaborating with our media agency, you'll utilize best-in-class tools and planning processes that leverage data to inform strategy and activate/optimize Foodservice campaigns for impact.
  • Inspire and Challenge: You'll inspire marketers and agency partners to think differently, encouraging them to explore new approaches, test, and learn. As a productively provocative role model, you'll champion looking at challenges and opportunities from fresh angles, pushing teams to challenge the status quo.
  • Curiosity and Adaptability: Your curiosity for consumer behavior, food trends, and industry advancements will drive our marketing approach.

What You'll Bring...
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field required; MBA a plus
  • 7+ years of Marketing/IMC experience within the Consumer Packaged Goods industry, with Foodservice experience a plus
  • Demonstrated experience in leading internal and agency teams through full funnel and omni-channel (paid/earned, social media, experiential, creators, partnerships, shopper, etc) integrated marketing processes
  • Proven ability to see the big picture strategy as well as detail-oriented execution
  • Effectively translates consumer insight skills into business-driving results
  • Strong ability to influence people and build relationships with cross-functional teams and agencies that translates into highly engaged and productive teams
  • High emotional intelligence and self-awareness, demonstrating and encouraging positive energy and passion across the marketing organization
  • Adapts to fast paced, ambiguous environments while maintaining accountability
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, a proven track record in delivering several complex projects at a time and the persistence to get actions completed on schedule
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

Compensation Package : $107,600.00 - $143,500.00 . CAD annually + Bonus eligibility
The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education and training, and other organizational needs.
