Specialist, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Automation

Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Specialist, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Automation to join our dynamic marketing team. This individual will be instrumental in leveraging the full capabilities of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, with a primary focus on Journey Builder, to create and manage engaging, personalized, and automated email marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of email marketing best practices, data segmentation, and campaign optimization to drive customer engagement and achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Journey Design & Development:

  • Design, build, and optimize multi-channel customer journeys within Salesforce Marketing Cloud Journey Builder, manage customer contact preferences, encompassing email, SMS, push notifications, and other relevant channels.
  • Translate marketing strategies and business requirements into effective, automated customer journeys.
  • Implement testing strategies within journeys to continuously optimize performance.

Email Creation & Content Management:

  • Develop and code responsive HTML email templates and landing pages using Content Builder, ensuring optimal rendering across various devices and email clients.
  • Utilize AMPscript and SSJS for dynamic content, personalization, and advanced email functionality.
  • Manage and organize email content, ensuring brand consistency and adherence to best practices.

Campaign Execution & Automation:

  • Configure and execute email sends, triggered sends, and automated workflows using Journey Builder and Automation Studio.
  • Schedule and monitor campaigns, ensuring timely deployment and troubleshooting any issues.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Collaborate closely with marketing managers, content creators, designers, and other stakeholders to align email campaigns with overall marketing strategies and business goals.
  • Communicate technical details and campaign performance effectively to non-technical audiences.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, with a strong emphasis on Journey Builder.
  • Proven experience in designing, building, and optimizing multi-step customer journeys.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and AMPscript for email development and personalization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent in English and French (spoken and written) required to collaborate with stakeholders in Quebec, Ontario, and across the United States.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
