Dans le cadre de nos activités de Transformateurs, reconnues mondialement pour leur innovation et leur leadership en matière de technologies de renforcement des réseaux, vous dirigerez et développerez des programmes environnementaux à notre site de fabrication de la ville de Québec. À ce titre, vous contribuerez à façonner des pratiques qui favorisent la conformité, la durabilité et l’exploitation responsable au sein d’un segment essentiel de l’industrie de l’électricité. Vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec la direction de l’usine, appuierez les systèmes de gestion environnementale, orienterez les programmes clés liés à la conformité des gaz à effet de serre, des déchets, de l’énergie et des matériaux, et contribuerez à un milieu de travail plus sécuritaire, plus efficace et respectueux de l’environnement. Vous soutiendrez également certaines activités de santé et sécurité au sein de l’équipe élargie de SSE. Votre travail contribue à faire en sorte que nos activités répondent aux attentes réglementaires et contribuent à la fiabilité, à la sécurité et à l’amélioration continue de notre environnement de fabrication.

 

Comment vous aurez un impact

 

  • Gérer et guider la direction de l’usine en ce qui a trait aux programmes et pratiques environnementaux.

  • Élaborer et améliorer des programmes qui favorisent la conformité aux règlements environnementaux locaux, provinciaux et fédéraux.

  • Soutenir les systèmes de gestion environnementale à l’échelle de l’entreprise et de l’unité d’affaires.

  • Participer aux inspections et aux vérifications des sites, superviser les constatations et coordonner les mesures correctives.

  • Exécuter le processus de signalement des incidents environnementaux, d’enquête et de suivi.

  • Mettre en œuvre les programmes environnementaux de l’entreprise et de l’unité d’affaires, y compris la conformité en matière de déchets, d’énergie, de gaz à effet de serre et de matériaux.

  • Établir des indicateurs de performance environnementale et en faire le suivi pour favoriser l'amélioration à l'échelle du site.

  • Participer à l’identification des actions de développement durable qui réduisent l’impact environnemental.

  • Veiller au respect des règlements, procédures et lignes directrices externes et internes applicables.

 

Votre parcours

 

  • Le candidat doit déjà avoir une autorisation de travail qui lui permettrait de travailler pour Hitachi Energy au Canada.

  • Baccalauréat en génie, en chimie, en sciences de l’environnement ou en sciences de la santé au travail avec au moins 2 ans d’expérience pertinente en SSE, OU DEC en environnement, santé et sécurité au travail avec au moins 5 ans d’expérience pertinente en SSE.

  • Solide connaissance de la réglementation environnementale.

  • Capacité éprouvée à coordonner et à influencer les équipes, et solides compétences en établissement de relations.

  • Capacité éprouvée à résoudre des problèmes et à appuyer l’amélioration des programmes.

  • Excellentes aptitudes en communication orale et écrite et maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office.

  • Expérience dans un milieu manufacturier syndiqué, un atout.

The Opportunity

As part of our Transformers, recognized worldwide for their innovation and leadership in network-building technologies, you will lead and develop environmental programs at our manufacturing site in Quebec City. As such, you will help shape practices that promote compliance, sustainability and responsible operation within a critical segment of the electricity industry. You will work closely with plant management, support environmental management systems, guide key programs related to greenhouse gas, waste, energy and materials compliance, and contribute to a safer, more efficient and environmentally friendly workplace. You will also support certain health and safety activities within the expanded SSE team. Your work helps ensure that our activities meet regulatory expectations and contribute to the reliability, safety and continuous improvement of our manufacturing environment.

Your Impact

  • Manage and guide plant management regarding environmental programs and practices.

  • Develop and improve programs that promote compliance with local, provincial and federal environmental regulations.

  • Support corporate and business unit-wide environmental management systems.

  • Participate in site inspections and audits, oversee findings and coordinate corrective actions.

  • Perform the environmental incident reporting, investigation and monitoring process.

  • Implement corporate and business unit environmental programs, including compliance with waste, energy, greenhouse gas and materials.

  • Establish and monitor environmental performance indicators to support site-wide improvement.

  • Participate in the identification of sustainable development actions that reduce environmental impact.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

Your Profile

  • The candidate must already have a work permit that would allow him to work for Hitachi Energy in Canada.

  • Bachelor of Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences or Occupational Health Sciences with at least 2 years relevant experience in HSE, OR DEC in Environment, Health and Safety at Work with at least 5 years relevant experience in HSE.

  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations.

  • Proven ability to coordinate and influence teams, and strong relationship building skills.

  • Proven ability to solve problems and support program improvement.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and mastery of the Microsoft Office suite.

  • Experience in a syndicated manufacturing environment, an asset.
