Aperçu du rôle
- Le candidat joindra l’équipe des stations de test. Celle-ci est responsable de développer et de maintenir des stations de test complexes utilisées par les ingénieurs de validation travaillant sur les composants photoniques à haute vitesse.
- Le spécialiste de stations de test doit également participer au développement du pipeline de transfert de données efficace qui est vital à notre environnement en continuel changement. De courts délais entre la prise de mesures et des résultats actionnables permettent de rendre nos équipes de design plus performantes.
Responsabilités
- Design de stations de test : Sélection de l’instrumentation (photonique et électrique), schémas de câblage, etc.
- Développer, tester et déployer des logiciels. Interfaces utilisateur, contrôle des équipements de test, automatisation des séquences de test, acquisition et l'analyse des données.
- Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les ingénieurs de validation et de fiabilité pour comprendre les besoins et définir les solutions optimales.
- Aider à augmenter la vélocité de l’équipe en favorisant la réutilisation des logiciels et du matériel.
Compétences professionnelles et personnelles requises
- Diplôme en génie (électrique, physique) et une expérience de travail de plus de 3 ans dans un rôle connexe.
- Excellente connaissance d'un ou de plusieurs des langages suivants: C#, Matlab, SQL, Python.
- Expérience démontrée dans le déploiement de solutions de test électro-optiques.
- Expérience dans un ou plusieurs des domaines suivants: composants photoniques, design de PCB, automatisation d’appareils de mesure, base de données, analyse de données, programmation embarquée, programmation de PLC.
- La capacité de travailler et de communiquer en français est requise.

La fourchette de rémunération annuelle pour ce poste est de 62,400 $ à 99,600 $.

Role overview
- The candidate will join the test stations team that is responsible to develop and maintain complex test setups used by validation engineers working on high-speed photonic components.
- The test station specialist also needs to participate in the development of an efficient data pipeline that is required in our fast-moving environment. A short delay between test to actionable insight is highly valuable for design teams.
Responsibilities
- Test stations design: instrumentation selection (photonic and electric), schematic of cabling, etc.
- Develop, test and deploy software: user interfaces, control of test equipment, automation of test sequences, data acquisition and analysis.
- Work in close collaboration with validation and reliability engineers to understand the needs and define optimum solutions.
- Help improving the team velocity by developing reusable software and hardware.
Requirements
- Engineering degree (electrical, physic) with more than 3 years of work experience in a similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of one or many of the following languages: C#, Matlab, SQL, Python
- Experience in one or many of the following field: Photonic, PCB design, control of measurement instruments, test automation, database, data analysis, embedded programming, PLC programming.
- Ability to work and communicate in French is required.

Pay Range:
The annual pay range for this position is $62,300 - $99,600
Pay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business. Please note that the pay range information provided in this posting pertains specifically to the primary location, which is the top location listed in case multiple locations are available.
Non-Sales employees may be eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus, while Sales employees may be eligible for a sales commission.
