About the Role

Liferaft is looking for a highly skilled and visionary Solutions Engineer to play a critical role in supporting our unprecedented growth. Working closely with Account Executives and the Customer Success team, you'll build and deliver compelling, industry-relevant product demonstrations. This role can be hybrid in Halifax, NS, or fully remote within the Eastern, or Atlantic time zones in Canada.

Reporting to the Director of Solutions Engineering, demonstrating our product’s value proposition is the cornerstone of converting opportunities into customers. Sales communications are mainly performed via Zoom, but qualified individuals may also be expected to work with clients on-location in target markets and attend various trade shows.

What you do as a Solutions Engineer

  • Collaborate with the sales team throughout the sales cycle to understand and articulate customer needs.
  • Build and deliver customized product demonstrations for potential clients, clearly illustrating ROI and industry expertise.
  • Scope and execute successful Proof of Concept (PoC) trials.
  • Exhibit technical platform capabilities and effectively engage with audiences, including leadership of Fortune 500 companies and C-level executives.
  • Maintain internal CRM (Salesforce) accounts.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), supporting and educating clients.
  • Provide thought leadership and product knowledge to sales, marketing, client experience, and leadership teams.
  • Contribute to expanding customer and prospect databases through activities like trade shows.
  • Support the Customer Success team during trials and throughout the client's lifecycle, ensuring optimal product utilization.
  • Overall contribution to company growth and development.

Requirements

What You Need to Get the Job Done:

  • Experience in a product demonstration or solutions engineering role.
  • Proven track record of delivering outstanding client interactions.
  • Strong knowledge of business processes (sales, marketing, service, support).
  • Experience in corporate security, threat analysis, or open-source intelligence is a strong asset.
  • Curious, analytical mindset, with the ability to ask the right questions to uncover the real problem behind a request.
