Solution Designer for supporting various transformation initiatives in Sun Life across Asia. This role will be part of RO IT Architecture team.

Preferred skills (heading) / Compétences particulières (titre)

  • Good understanding of the Financial Services industry, with a focus on emerging technologies and their application in the insurance domain.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience working in multinational insurance companies at the regional level,
    with a proven track record of delivering complex, technology-driven solutions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing cloud-native, microservices-based, and API-driven insurance solutions, leveraging modern architectural patterns and emerging technologies such as AI/ML, big data, and IoT.
  • Thorough understanding of common patterns, frameworks, and reference architectures for the Insurance domain, with a focus on digital transformation and innovation.

Qualifications (heading) / Compétences (titre)

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree, preferably with a Master's degree in Computer Science,
    Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 10+ years of IT experience, with a minimum of 3+ years in the insurance industry, focusing on the application of emerging technologies.

  • Accountable for delivering the IT designs for all projects and programs, focusing on innovative business and IT solutions in the insurance domain, such as new-age digital platforms, cloud-native applications, AI/ML-powered decision-making, and data-driven insights.
  • Support regional transformation programs, from conceptualization to execution, with a focus on agile and DevOps practices.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with various project stakeholders and external vendors in delivering the end to end solution designs
  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills for large, complex, and broad issues, working independently and leading cross-functional teams.
