Role Description: Software Engineer – Wasabi AiRRole Purpose: 
Help us change how the world searches media. Wasabi AiR uses machine learning to make audio, video, images, and documents instantly findable. We’re seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Go and Rust to build and scale a high-performance, cloud-native platform.

This position is being hired through a Professional Employer Organization (PEO), which supports Wasabi Technologies with payroll and HR compliance.
Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain high-performance backend systems in Go and Rust, utilizing essential programming languages to power reliable and scalable APIs. 
  • Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Product teams to design secure, efficient architectures. 
  • Write clean, well-documented code, review peers’ work, and mentor junior engineers. 
  • Optimize performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure systems run smoothly at scale. 
  • Work hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, and IaC tools like Terraform to deliver robust infrastructure. 
Requirements:
  • Bring 4+ years of software engineering experience and a solid CS foundation (degree or equivalent). 
  • Code like a pro in Go and Rust, with deep skills in concurrency, memory safety, and performance tuning. 
  • Build and scale high-performance systems, APIs, and services that handle serious workloads. 
  • Work hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, and IaC tools like Terraform to deliver rock-solid infrastructure. 
  • Solve complex problems with clear thinking, strong collaboration, and a passion for clean, efficient code.
