We are seeking a Software Development Intern to join our Mobile Application team to enhance driver experience. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in building and enhancing mobile system functionality and efficiency. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Participate in the development, testing and maintenance of the Route Application using MAUI.net (C#) 

  • Collaborate with the operations department to translate requirements into technical solutions aligned with driver's needs and operational workflows 

  • Build proofs of concepts (POCs) for mobile application 

  • Write clean, efficient and scalable code 

  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback  

  • Contribute to troubleshooting, debugging and optimizing mobile application features 

  • Support the deployment of mobile app updates and ensure performance reliability  

  • The role involves daily (or regular) communication with pan-Canadian stakeholders. 

Qualifications 

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 

  • Proficient in C#. 

  • Knowledge of additional programming languages, including Java, Python and JavaScript, an asset. 

  • Knowledge of web development frameworks and databases is an asset. 

  • Logical, analytical, and creative approach to problem-solving 

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with an eagerness to learn
