We are seeking a Software Development Intern to join our Mobile Application team to enhance driver experience. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in building and enhancing mobile system functionality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Participate in the development, testing and maintenance of the Route Application using MAUI.net (C#)
Collaborate with the operations department to translate requirements into technical solutions aligned with driver's needs and operational workflows
Build proofs of concepts (POCs) for mobile application
Write clean, efficient and scalable code
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
Contribute to troubleshooting, debugging and optimizing mobile application features
Support the deployment of mobile app updates and ensure performance reliability
The role involves daily (or regular) communication with pan-Canadian stakeholders.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proficient in C#.
Knowledge of additional programming languages, including Java, Python and JavaScript, an asset.
Knowledge of web development frameworks and databases is an asset.
Logical, analytical, and creative approach to problem-solving
Strong collaboration and communication skills with an eagerness to learn
