We are seeking a Software Development Intern to support the implementation of Intelcom’s Last Mile software. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your skills in a collaborative environment working on address coordination micro-services.
Responsibilities
Participate in the development, testing, and maintenance of software services using C# and React.
Collaborate to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Write clean, efficient, and scalable code, along with comprehensive automated tests to ensure reliability and performance.
Use CI/CD practices to build, test and deploy code changes.
Participate in your team’s agile scrum sprints and ceremonies
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Contribute to troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing the system.
Support the deployment of software updates and maintenance of system performance.
The role involves daily (or regular) communication with pan-Canadian stakeholders.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
Experience with object-oriented software development with a language like C# or Java.
Knowledge of frontend frameworks like React, Angular or Vue.js is an asset.
Experience with AWS or Azure is an asset.
Strong understanding of data structures.
Experience designing and implementing relational databases is an asset
Logical, analytical, and creative approach to problem-solving
Strong collaboration and communication skills
