What you’ll accomplish with us
As a Software Designer, you’ll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:

  • Administering, configuring and enhancing software development platforms (Azure DevOps Services, GitHub Enterprise, Artifactory, etc.);

  • Managing access rights, updates, configuration and feature activation for development tools;

  • Supporting delivery teams in the adoption of DevSecOps tools and practices;

  • Supporting the implementation and optimization of CI/CD pipelines;

  • Gathering and analyzing the needs of development teams (integration, security, testing, deployment);

  • Designing standards, templates, automations and tool integrations aligned with identified needs;

  • Designing and evolving reusable components and integrations;

  • Ensuring the quality, performance, security and maintainability of solutions;

  • Producing detailed designs in compliance with IT architecture standards;

  • Collaborating with solution architects to ensure technological consistency;

  • Participating in solution reviews and IT governance committees;

  • Acting as a technical leader for delivery teams;

  • Making technology trade‑offs and supporting the resolution of complex issues;

  • Promoting knowledge transfer and continuous improvement;

  • Evaluating and recommending technology solutions based on security, compliance, cost and reusability criteria;

  • Integrating FinOps considerations into proposed solutions;

  • Conducting technology watch activities and proposing improvements aligned with internal standards;

  • Producing and maintaining technical documentation (designs, guides, procedures, runbooks);

  • Providing technical guidance to internal and external resources;

  • Supporting production releases and post‑deployment activities.

What could accelerate your success in this role
We’re looking for someone who:

  • Holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, information systems, computer or software engineering, mathematics, or another relevant equivalent field;

  • Has 10 years of experience in information technology, including a minimum of 5 years in the targeted area of expertise;

  • Has experience with software development management tools (Azure DevOps Services, GitHub, etc.);

  • Is recognized for strong expertise in software solution design and development;

  • Stands out for mastery of modern development tools and platforms;

  • Demonstrates strong analytical skills, problem‑solving abilities and sound decision‑making;

  • Is recognized for technical leadership and influencing skills;

  • Has an advanced level of proficiency in both French and English, as the role involves collaborating, communicating and documenting technical solutions with suppliers, technology partners and unilingual French‑ and English‑speaking IT teams on a regular basis.
