About the role

Are you obsessed with social media trends, love creating engaging content, and know how to turn ideas into posts that resonate? We’re looking for a Social Media Specialist to grow WHC’s presence online and make our brand shine! You’ll report directly to the Marketing & Communications Manager and work closely with the Marketing, Sales, and Customer Experience (CX) teams.


What you'll do

  • Manage and grow WHC’s presence across major platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, YouTube… and explore new ones as they emerge.
  • Create and share bilingual content that gets noticed: posts, videos, stories, memes, reels—whatever speaks to our audience.
  • Build and manage a content calendar that ties into our marketing campaigns and business goals.
  • Be an active part of our community: reply to comments and DMs, start conversations, and connect with relevant threads and spaces online.
  • Be the voice of WHC: friendly, trusted, caring and proudly local.
  • Track and manage our online reputation on platforms like Google Reviews and TrustPilot, and collaborate with internal teams to draft thoughtful responses.
  • Spot opportunities to highlight WHC’s role in Canada’s tech and entrepreneurial space.
  • Report on performance monthly and share insights to keep optimizing our strategy.
  • Stay on top of social trends, formats, tools, and best practices to keep our content fresh and impactful.

Who you are

  • Fully bilingual (French & English), with strong written and verbal communication skills in both. Bilingualism is essential to connect with our cross-Canada community. 
  • Confident in creating content tailored to each platform, with a strong eye for what performs.
  • Skilled with tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite, and familiar with short-form video editing.
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator.
  • Organized and able to manage multiple projects and timelines.
  • Passionate about entrepreneurship, tech,digital tools, and helping Canadians grow online.
  • Comfortable being on camera is a definite plus. 
  • Experience with marketing, websites, hosting SaaS or domains? That’s a definite plus!
  • 1–3 years of hands-on experience in social media management or a similar role.
