Temporary position for 12 months

As a skills development advisor, you have the opportunity to play a strategic role in cultivating talent within our organization. Your mission is to design and roll out innovative training solutions that support our clients’ growth and performance. You’re directly involved in improving the experience of our members and clients by supporting the development of key skills. In this role, you analyze training needs and recommend learning strategies that fit our operational reality. You work closely with experts and multidisciplinary teams to create clear, relevant and engaging content. Your ability to put complex ideas in simple terms and positively influence the parties involved is essential to our projects’ success. You take part in strategic, innovative initiatives, where your leadership and ability to work through uncertainty make a real difference. This position calls for strong versatility, solid expertise in skills development and the people skills needed to build lasting relationships with a wide network of partners. You contribute to projects that have a significant impact on the organization, where your recommendations and expertise make a real difference. More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Analyze training needs and create learning strategies tailored to different roles and contexts, based on our operational reality

  • Design, develop and produce training materials geared toward our goals

  • Act as the point person for our experts

  • Work with the different groups involved and learn the operational context to make the training content easier to understand

  • Advise and support our partners in the positioning, development, execution and monitoring of strategic projects and initiatives under your responsibility

  • Identify and analyze significant issues, diagnose their causes and make recommendations to decision-making bodies

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience

  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

  • Design experience

  • Knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec

  • Strong communication skills in both French and English, both oral and written due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with english-speaking partners, members and/or clients

  • Advanced knowledge of the Office 365 suite

  • Advanced knowledge of design tools
