We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Site Lead / Senior Project Manager to support the onboarding of clinics onto an eReferral and eOrder platform.
The successful candidate will lead clinic/site activations, coordinate with Site Facilitators, Intake Coordinators, clinicians, healthcare organizations, vendors, and other stakeholders, and ensure successful implementation and onboarding. The role may also support other delivery projects across the portfolio, including site deployments, activations, and new service delivery initiatives.
Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will lead clinic/site activations, coordinate with Site Facilitators, Intake Coordinators, clinicians, healthcare organizations, vendors, and other stakeholders, and ensure successful implementation and onboarding. The role may also support other delivery projects across the portfolio, including site deployments, activations, and new service delivery initiatives.
- Lead site onboarding projects and coordinate activities to achieve objectives within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned sites.
- Collaborate with clinics, hospital staff, physicians, Ministry of Health, Health Authorities, Doctors of BC, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Lead and coordinate site activations and implementation activities.
- Identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate project risks.
- Coordinate and chair project meetings and facilitate communication among project resources.
- Document project findings, recommendations, decisions, and action items.
- Provide regular project status updates to leadership and relevant committees.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, reports, records, and other documentation.
- Manage project scope changes and obtain required approvals.
- Monitor project financials, resource utilization, issues, and risks.
- Escalate significant issues and work with stakeholders to develop solutions.
- Follow established PMO project management processes and standards.
- Manage multiple delivery projects and adapt to changing priorities.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements Required Qualifications & Experience
- Education, training, and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Administration, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of recent, related experience working in a healthcare environment.
- Experience delivering digital solutions to healthcare sites.
- Strong project management and consultation/facilitation experience with diverse stakeholder groups, including vendors.
- Extensive experience communicating with clinical and non-clinical staff, senior leadership, and other stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management capabilities with experience managing multiple Agile projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated leadership and project delivery experience.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, forward-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of how technologies integrate within a provincial healthcare ecosystem.
- Experience with both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Ability to coordinate, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
- Ability to adapt to changing project needs and priorities.
- PMP designation preferred.
- Experience working within BC Health Authorities considered an asset.
- Knowledge of OceanMD and EMR/CIS systems considered a strong asset.
- Consultant must be located in Canada.
- Work must be performed in Pacific Time (PT).
- Any work outside Canada requires prior approval.
- Consultant is responsible for providing their own equipment/tools for remote work.
- PHSA provides required software, applications, and remote-work access.
- Federal and provincial holidays are observed.
- Expected workload may be full-time, but actual hours depend on project requirements and available funding.
