The Role
The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for developing and supporting the planning, design and execution of test plans, test scripts, and process plans for projects. The Senior QA Analyst will be responsible for ensure that the end product meets the minimum quality standards, is fully functional and user friendly. The Senior QA Analyst should demonstrate strong attention to detail, and have analytical problem-solving abilities, interpret and implement quality assurance standards and provide accurate and comprehensive feedback to colleagues.
What You Will Be Doing
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure that all objectives are met
- Implement and monitor test scripts to assess functionality, reliability, performance and quality of the service or product
- Identify and remedy defects within the production process
- Recommend, implement, and monitor preventative and corrective actions to ensure that quality assurance standards are achieved
- Compile and analyze statistical data
- Ensure that user expectations are met during the testing process
- Draft quality assurance policies and procedures
- Investigate customer complaints and product issues
- Ensure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements
What You Bring Along
- Ability to understand several testing techniques (e.g., performance, unit, integration, automated), their strengths and weakness, and ability to use them to best effect - including tracking and addressing of any discovered issues.
- Ability to use tools (such as IDE, debugger, build tools, source control, ServiceNow instances, profilers, system administration/Unix tools) to assist with daily tasks
- A good understanding of software testing types, techniques, tools, processes, and methodologies.
- Reviewing test cases, test scenarios, analysing the cause of the issues and taking corrective actions as required.
- Good understanding of all Testing Techniques which includes Smoke testing, Functional testing, Integration testing, System testing, Regression Testing, Stress Testing, Black box testing
- Solid functional and non-functional end to end testing experience of ServiceNow platform
- Experienced in testing of ServiceNow based products.
- Resource should have hands on working knowledge of using an already existing automation framework (ATF) to solve different testing delivery problem, challenges, preference will be given to ServiceNow ATF tool.
- Technical expert responsible for specifying, planning, reporting, designing, reviewing in his/her technical areas (e.g. Service now /Automation areas).
Education:
- A four-year undergraduate degree in Computer Science or relevant field
- 2+ years ServiceNow testing experience or in related field
Certification preferred:
- ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board)
- CSTE (Certified Test Engineer)
- CSA
