About Podium IQ
AI models now decide who gets recommended, considered, and chosen, and Podium IQ is the platform built to win in that environment. We show enterprise brands exactly where they're invisible in AI answers, and then we ship the content that makes them visible, so intelligence and execution live in one place rather than in two disconnected teams. We work with leading brands across financial services, consumer technology, and sport, and we move at the speed the category demands.
The role
You're the connective tissue between the platform and the page. podium iq surfaces the visibility gaps and hands you prioritized recommendations, battlecards, and query data, and your job is to turn all of that into content strategy and briefs that a writer can act on without needing a second conversation. You bring the SEO expertise and we bring the GEO methodology that sits at the core of what podium iq does, and together they make every brief perform in both traditional search and AI answers. This is the translation layer that turns insight into work that actually ships, which is exactly where most organizations stall and where you'll make the difference.
What you'll do
Configure Podium runs applying keyword research and business intelligence
Interpret Podium IQ battlecards, GVI scores, and funnel-stage query data, and translate them into a clear content plan for each sprint
Write detailed copywriting briefs that cover target queries, search intent, structure, schema, internal linking, sources, and the retrieval signals that earn citations in AI answer
Embed SEO best practices alongside the GEO methodology we'll train you on, so the work is built both to be found and to be cited
Brief writers and creative, then review the output against the strategy before it moves to approval
Work inside our Share of Model pod in a client-facing capacity on six-to-eight-week sprints, partnering closely with cross-functional teams to keep strategy and execution moving together
What you bring
6+ years in SEO and digital content strategy, ideally with B2B & B2C experience, and a history of owning the brief rather than just receiving it
Fluency with Semrush or Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and the fundamentals of on-page and technical SEO
A working command of schema and structured data, and comfort using GA4 to connect content to outcomes
Real curiosity about how AI models retrieve and cite sources, because you don't need to have mastered GEO already. You need the SEO foundation and the appetite to learn what comes next
The details
This is a contract role open to candidates across Canada, structured as a monthly retainer. You'll report directly to our Head Advisory. The contract runs on a conversion track, so as our book of enterprise work grows, full-time seats open for the people who've earned them through the quality of their output and their fit with the pace we work at.
Why this matters
The category is already operationalizing, and enterprise teams are building AI search capability right now while struggling to find people who can connect intelligence to execution. That's the gap you fill, and you'll fill it at the frontier of the space, working on real enterprise accounts with a methodology you genuinely cannot learn anywhere else yet. If you want to shape how brands win in AI search rather than watch it happen, we should talk.
How to Apply
