Our mission is to unlock the full potential of private markets. Privately owned assets like commercial real estate, private equity, and venture capital make up half of our financial ecosystem yet remain inaccessible to most people. We are digitizing these markets, and as a result, bringing efficiency, transparency, and access to one of the most productive corners of our financial ecosystem. If you care about making the world a better place by making markets work better through technology – all while contributing as a member of a values-driven organization – we want to hear from you.
Juniper Square offers employees a variety of ways to work, ranging from a fully remote experience to working full-time in one of our physical offices. We invest heavily in digital-first operations, allowing our teams to collaborate effectively across 27 U.S. states, 2 Canadian Provinces, India, Luxembourg, and England. We also have physical offices in San Francisco, New York City, Mumbai and Bangalore for employees who prefer to work in an office some or all of the time.
About your roleAs the Senior Technical Writer, Internal Tools and Systems at Juniper Square, you will own the end-to-end documentation experience for our internal platforms and play a pivotal role in shaping how employees and customers understand new functionality. This role goes beyond writing user guides: you’ll set the vision and standards for documentation, taxonomy, and release notes, while fueling our next-generation AI initiatives.
You’ll document complex internal systems such as Canopy, CCTools, and our fund administration software, ensuring teams across Juniper Square can work more effectively. You’ll also create customer-facing release notes and documentation when fund administration features surface in our GPX platform, bridging internal knowledge with external communication. Every piece of content you create—whether internal onboarding materials, system documentation, or release notes—should deliver clarity, accuracy, and real-world usability.
We’re looking for someone who combines deep technical writing expertise with AI fluency, and who sees AI as an accelerator rather than a competitor. You should be confident operating independently, quick to establish cross-functional relationships, and able to set the bar for how we communicate about internal tools and systems.
What you’ll doOwn the documentation set for internal tools and systems, leading the creation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of resources for Canopy, CCTools, fund administration software, and other critical platforms.
Fuel JunieAI by creating the structured, foundational content that powers our AI-driven documentation and support strategies.
Deliver release notes and documentation for fund administration features that impact the GPX platform, ensuring customers understand not just what changed, but why it matters.

Partner with instructional design counterparts to provide documentation that strengthens internal onboarding and learning programs.
Use JunieAI and other AI tools to improve research, accelerate content creation, and iterate more efficiently while keeping the human touch front and center.
Act as a strategic partner to product management, engineering, and operations to ensure documentation reflects accurate functionality and aligns with company priorities.
Track and measure documentation impact, applying insights to improve usability, efficiency, and adoption.
Promote best practices in technical writing and responsible AI use across the company.
Participate in Agile processes, ensuring documentation is part of the definition of done for every release.

Creating the foundational documentation layer that feeds JunieAI.
Producing clear, usable documentation for internal systems like Canopy and CCTools.
Building strong working relationships with product, engineering, fund administration, and instructional design partners.
Gathering information independently, explaining complex systems clearly, and delivering content with minimal rework.
Consistently applying our style guide and leveraging AI effectively without losing editorial quality or human empathy.
Proven technical writing experience in fintech or SaaS, with a portfolio that includes internal tooling, Help Center content, and release notes.
Strong belief in AI as a way to enhance productivity and quality, with a clear understanding of how humans and AI can work together.
Ability to produce high-quality deliverables from day one with only light guidance.
Strong understanding of Agile practices and the ability to embed documentation into the development lifecycle.
Experience with documentation systems like Zendesk, Markdown, and version control.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to explain complex systems to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Comfortable editing HTML and light CSS in Zendesk Guide, including article markup, tables, anchors, and theme snippets.
