Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity

You will assess, develop, design, implement, manage, administer and evaluate scalable, best in class and sustainable organizational-wide programs, processes and tools in one or more of: Culture and Values, Employee Engagement, and Agile Talent Management (e.g. Succession Planning/Talent Review, Career and Performance Management, Diversity and Inclusion, Change Management).

Responsible for the enhancement and implementation of a multi-year Talent Management strategy in partnership with the Director, Talent, OD and DEI, to improve the Moneris employee experience and success. Provide consultative support to the business through an internal partnership with the HR Business Partners. Use these relationships to evaluate and analyse needs, develop appropriate and innovative OD/Talent Management solutions and share best practices.

Location: You will be based in our Toronto, Sackville or Montreal office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.

Reporting Relationship: You will report to the Director, Talent, OD and DEI.

Your Moneris Career - What you'll do

  • Help develop, implement, and enhance a multi-year Talent and OD Program strategy in partnership with the Director, Talent, OD and DEI.

  • Assess, develop, design, implement, manage, administer, evaluate and project manage scalable, best-in-class and sustainable organizational-wide Talent programs, processes and tools. To do so, you will develop and maintain documentation of project plans, documents/tools/job aids, processes and continuous improvement opportunity plans for each Talent program

  • Establish, write and implement effective communication and change management enterprise-wide plans through multiple channels for each Talent program, to influence the application of program methodologies. Leverage internal Communications team expertise where required and most effective.

  • Design, develop, manage and optimize existing technology, specific to Talent programs, through reporting, data analytics and insights to enhance business leader and HR team decision-making (E.g. dashboards, presentations to multiple levels of partners, Board and executive reviews). In doing so, partners with HR Centres of Excellence to implement the right mix of other talent technologies that support the employee experience and further the digitalization and simplification of HR; define and communicate program needs for technological functionality design; develop and execute strategies to help use digital talent management solutions.

  • Research best external and Agile Talent Management and OD practices and new techniques; evaluate existing Talent solutions against these best practices and trends; continually enhance programs.

  • Collaborate and provide consultation both within (E.g. HRBPs, other T&OD colleagues, etc.) and outside of HR to ensure a seamless and holistic experience for clients. Recommend specific action steps to lead the benefits and desired outcomes of Talent and OD programs.

Your Moneris Career - What you bring

  • University Degree in Human Resources/Organizational Development or a related field of study

  • 7+ years of work experience within a corporate environment in Human Resources, with a primary focus and expertise in Talent Management/Development and Organizational Development Centres of Expertise/Excellence

  • Knowledge and application of several talent management/development technological systems (Must have Workday) and external best practices, to build and manage Talent program

  • Strong communication and influencing skills (reading, writing, and verbal)

  • Experience exercising project and program management skills to achieve enterprise-wide projects

  • Balance strategic thinking and tactical work
