The Cybersecurity Group at SandboxAQ is looking for a DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer to help functionalize AQtive Guard, our groundbreaking solution for modern non-human identity and cryptography management already launching globally with major organizations like top-tier financial institutions and government agencies.
We’re looking for a DevOps & Infrastructure engineer to help deliver the next generation of cybersecurity systems. A successful candidate will be comfortable designing and maintaining both on-premise and cloud infrastructure, including local development environments and full CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of information security best practices will be considered a plus. The candidate will be working closely with a diverse team consisting of cryptographers, mathematicians, ML experts, and physicists, where they will be collaborating together in delivering novel solutions.
What You’ll Do- Work with teams of developers and cryptographers to integrate their research advancements into new products
- Develop and maintain tooling for interacting with the various deployments, set up local development environment, and maintain a complex code base
- Work across on-premise, cloud and hybrid cloud infrastructures to deliver fully functional products
- Design scalable and fault-tolerant architecture for cloud deployments
- Ensure high-quality deliverables by maintaining CI/CD pipelines and concise documentation
- Strong experience using, building, and maintaining infrastructure in AWS
- Strong experience managing and orchestrating workloads using Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience defining infrastructure and processes as a code through Terraform, and managing CI systems
- Strong experience with a few scripting languages
- Expertise building large-scale distributed systems
- Ability to containerize and automate deployments and tests using CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to work in a small team/rapid prototyping environment and deal with uncertainty and fluidity
- Understanding of standard IT security best practices
- Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet
- Knowledge of security-related concepts and technologies
- Familiarity with Bazel
- Familiarity with streaming frameworks, especially Kafka and Kstreams
The US base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be $217K - $304K per year. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This role may be eligible for annual discretionary bonuses and equity.
