Reporting to the VP of Analytics & Data Science, the Senior Solutions Engineer will lead the design and delivery of scalable, reliable, and high-impact technical implementations . Working with diverse data from a variety of industries, you’ll build and optimize end-to-end analytics solutions that directly impact how our customers engage with the Forma platform. You’ll collaborate with various stakeholders within the business to scope out areas where the team can bring additional value, while managing competing priorities.
What you'll do:- Lead strategic technical engagements with enterprise clients, guiding them through the solutioning of complex business challenges using the Forma platform
- Build and optimize scalable data architectures, pipelines, and workflows using tools such as PySpark and Databricks
- Support our professional services team with extracting, transforming, and analyzing client data to optimize their incentive compensation and sales performance strategies
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to deliver high-quality, actionable datasets
- Lead technical initiatives to improve data infrastructure, performance, and reliability
- Mentor junior team members to contribute to internal knowledge bases
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical role such as Solutions Engineer, Analytics Engineer, or Sales Engineer
- Proficient at writing complex and efficient Python scripts and SQL queries
- Experience with modern data lakehouse architectures (Databricks, Snowflake), and an understanding of what drives performance and cost
- Strong customer empathy and a passion for building end-to-end, user-facing data products.
- Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Proven ability to thrive in a detail-driven, cross-functional environment, working closely with Product, Engineering, and Analytics teams.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for continuous learning and skill development, with a genuine passion for data.
- Experience in machine learning or business intelligence (BI)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience working with Salesforce and other financial data sources
- Prior experience in ICM (incentive compensation management), SPM (sales performance management), or sales roles.
