You bring deep technical expertise in backend engineering and can lead frontend efforts when needed. You think in systems, code for performance, and build with scalability and compliance top of mind. You’re as comfortable reviewing architecture as you are mentoring junior developers or rolling up your sleeves to fix a gnarly bug.

What You’ll Do

As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you’ll help architect, build, and maintain high-impact systems that drive the future of our platform. You’ll work closely with the Data Journey team and cross-functional partners to deliver production-ready features and services that support our evolving customer needs and meet stringent compliance standards.

• Lead development of robust, performant, and intuitive front-end experiences using React and Next.js

• Design and build high-performance, scalable microservices using Node.js or Java

• Collaborate with design and product to implement elegant user interfaces

• Drive front-end architectural decisions and establish coding standards

• Architect solutions that meet compliance requirements (HIPAA, SOC 2, PCI DSS)

• Implement robust error handling, monitoring, and recovery mechanisms

• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical decision-making

• Design and implement APIs that integrate with enterprise systems and third-party services

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of professional software development experience

• Deep experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and front-end best practices

• Expertise in Node.js or Java for backend development

• Strong understanding of secure, scalable API design and enterprise application architecture

• Experience designing systems that align with compliance frameworks (HIPAA, SOC 2, PCI DSS)

Bonus Points

• Experience with event-driven architectures and tools like Kafka

• Familiarity with Temporal or other orchestration frameworks

Salary Range
$160,000 - $180,000 CAD. Actual compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
