About the Role:

As a software engineer on the Trust Experience Platform, you will develop full-stack components and APIs that support identity verification, fraud prevention, and authentication systems.

You will become a product expert and have the opportunity to influence key decisions that shape the charters you work in. You will build features that hundreds of thousands of customers interact with every single day. Your day to day work will have a direct impact on our customers and business. You will report to the Senior Engineering Manager in Vancouver.

You Will:

  • Build durable domain knowledge that will benefit you for the rest of your career
  • Design and implement solutions to tricky problems across multiple domains
  • Partner autonomously with program and product leaders
  • Have a large scope of ownership in a fundamental domain
  • Learn what it takes to build something new from the ground up
  • Lead technical discussions, provide mentorship to junior engineers, and advocate for best practices in coding, testing, and system design.
  • Identify and resolve technical challenges, improving system performance, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the Trust Platform

You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of software development experience.
  • Expertise in one of the following programming languages: TypeScript, JavaScript, Kotlin, Java, Go.

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is $148,000-$180,000. In Canada, Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
