Overview

As a Senior Software Developer specializing in AI Integration, you will take a pivotal role in blending advanced AI technologies with our core products and internal tooling. Your expertise will help us create smarter, more intuitive systems that redefine user interaction and operational efficiency. You will collaborate closely with various teams, providing technical leadership and innovative solutions that push the boundaries of what is possible.

The Right Person Will:

• Lead the integration of AI technologies into Solace products and tools, ensuring they meet business needs and exceed performance expectations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into robust, scalable software solutions.
• Stay ahead of AI technology trends and advancements, applying this knowledge to drive continuous innovation at Solace.
• Experiment with new foundational models and generative AI techniques to adapt them for Solace specific use cases
• Design, develop, and maintain software systems that are both powerful and user-friendly.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
• Play a key role in project planning and execution, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of AI strategies and roadmaps.

Ideal Skills:

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 7+ years of experience in software development, with some recent focus on generative AI technologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java.
• Experience with using SaaS AI models, such as OpenAI or AWS Bedrock
• Experience with building AI pipelines for things like RAG based semantic search
• A track record of successful projects where you have led the integration of AI into complex software systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think algorithmically.
• Excellent communication skills, both for technical and non-technical audiences.
• A collaborative spirit and experience working in agile development environments.
