About the Role

inBeat is hiring a Senior Social Media Content Strategist to lead the content strategy for a major new CPG energy brand, backed by one of the world’s largest corporations. You will be fully dedicated to this flagship client, working at the intersection of creativity, strategy, and brand building.

This is a rare opportunity to shape the social presence of a brand from day one—building the calendar, defining the content pillars, and ensuring every piece of creative drives cultural impact and consumer engagement.

You won’t be doing this alone: you’ll lead strategy for an internal studio team that includes motion designers, graphic designers, video editors, and social media managers. Your role is to set the vision, bring clarity, and ensure the content strategy directly fuels the brand’s growth.

Because the brand is launching in Toronto and expanding into Montreal, bilingual fluency in English and French is essential for ensuring the strategy resonates across both markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the social media content strategy across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms.

  • Build and manage a strategic content calendar that balances product messaging, cultural relevance, and community engagement.

  • Partner with the internal studio team (designers, editors, social managers) to translate strategy into high-impact content executions.

  • Define the brand voice and creative direction in both English and French to ensure consistency and resonance.

  • Provide ongoing analysis and iteration—reviewing performance data, surfacing insights, and optimizing content for growth.

  • Act as a strategic advisor to both the client and InBeat leadership on how to scale a CPG brand through social-first storytelling.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5–7+ years of social media and content strategy experience, ideally within a CPG or consumer brand context.

  • Proven track record of launching and growing CPG brands through social media.

  • Fluency in both English and French (spoken and written); experience creating bilingual campaigns.

  • Deep expertise in platform-native storytelling (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.).

  • Strong creative instincts paired with analytical rigor—you know what will resonate, and you can prove it with data.

  • Experience leading or guiding a creative team toward executing on strategy.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for both internal and client-facing conversations.

Nice-to-Have

  • Agency background with hands-on CPG campaign experience.

  • Experience working with in-house creative studio teams.

  • Strong POV on emerging content formats and cultural trends.

Why Join Us

  • Play a pivotal role in launching a global CPG brand with scale and impact.

  • Work with a dedicated studio team at your disposal—you focus on strategy, they bring it to life.

  • Join InBeat, a leader in influencer and UGC-driven growth, while being fully embedded with an innovative client.

  • Remote-first contractor role with the opportunity to shape a high-visibility, high-growth account from day one.
