About nesto and Nesto Cloud

You will be working on Nesto Cloud, Canada’s most advanced cloud platform, delivering end-to-end technology solutions for lenders in the digital age.

About the Team

Our machine learning team expertise spans the whole machine learning development cycle from data collection, all the way to model deployment and maintenance, in both computer vision and modern language models.

What you’ll be doing

  • Developing and maintaining nesto’s Salesforce environment;
  • Creating best practices for the data architecture, user interface, role design and business logic within Salesforce;
  • Help maintain and build on Salesforce’s integration with our core backend services;
  • Write modular, maintainable code;
  • Apply strong technical skills in design/coding/testing/debugging;
  • Deliver small-scoped projects/features independently, and medium to large projects within a team of collaborators;
  • Work with the team to investigate hard-to-reproduce bugs, narrow-down failure conditions, and the first test of new functionalities;
  • Continue to learn the system and technology and stay up to date with all new Salesforce releases;
  • Working closely with Operations leadership to rapidly test, execute and iterate on core business processes;

Who we’re looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience);
  • 8+ years of professional software development experience;
  • Develop solutions on the Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud);
  • Have a deep understanding of Salesforces different integration patterns;
  • Using best practices on when to use flows vs. Apex;
  • Strong experience with LWC development;
  • Platform Developer 1 certification and Platform Developer 2;
  • Motivated by creating an application that users would like and use;
  • Eager to learn and share your knowledge;
  • Excellent communications skills;
  • You enjoy working in a team and collaborating with people with different backgrounds;
  • You are self-driven and like fast-paced teams;
  • You’ve comfortable with the architecture of modern applications;
  • Additional developer experience outside of Salesforce is an asset.

You should not apply if

  • You do not have recent, hands-on experience as a Developer contributing code (Apex, LWC, Visualforce) in an Enterprise-level Salesforce environment.
  • You are uncomfortable being the technical subject-matter expert (SME) responsible for solution design and mentorship of other developers on complex, custom Salesforce architecture projects.

The Reward

The A-Team: Work alongside high-performing talent in the industry.

Accelerated Growth: The slope of your learning curve here will be vertical. You will touch more production systems in one year than you would in five years at a bank.

Top-Tier Coverage: Premium benefits plan fully paid by nesto, including comprehensive insurance and unlimited access to telemedicine and mental health services for you and your family.

Rest & Recharge: 4 weeks of vacation to ensure you stay at peak performance.

Best-in-Class Tools: Access to the resources and tech you need to execute without friction.

Working framework: the environment that makes you productive and enables teamwork.

We are committed to fostering a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, and we strongly encourage women, people of color, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and individuals with disabilities to apply. We are committed to creating a workplace that is inclusive and welcoming to all.
