Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Salesforce CRM systems, collaborating with teams to customize solutions and optimize performance.
As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our Salesforce CRM system. You will work closely with various business units to gather requirements and deliver customized solutions to meet the evolving needs of the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce's capabilities and a strong technical background to develop complex solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and other Salesforce technologies. This is a 3-6 month project with the option to be extended.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Development: Design and develop scalable and secure Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other relevant technologies.
- Customization: Customize Salesforce to meet business requirements, including custom objects, fields, page layouts, workflows, approval processes, validation rules, and automation.
- Integration: Integrate Salesforce with external systems, leveraging REST/SOAP APIs, third-party applications, and middleware platforms.
- Data Management: Ensure data integrity through effective data modeling, management, and migration. Create and maintain data models, implement data validation, and oversee data migration activities.
- Testing: Develop and execute comprehensive unit tests, integration tests, and user acceptance tests to ensure the robustness and quality of the solutions delivered.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize Salesforce performance by identifying and resolving issues related to performance, scalability, and security.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and release notes.
- Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and other team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Stay Updated: Keep up with the latest Salesforce features, best practices, and industry trends, recommending improvements and new features where applicable.
Requirements
- Education: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
- Salesforce Certifications: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II, Salesforce Certified Administrator, and/or other relevant certifications.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce declarative tools.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce CRM features, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Community Cloud.
- Experience with Salesforce integration tools and APIs (REST, SOAP, etc.).
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins).
- Knowledge of data modeling, security, and sharing architecture in Salesforce.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Marketing Cloud, or other Salesforce products.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Knowledge of other programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript) and web technologies (HTML, CSS).
