Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Product Owner to oversee our Security Champions Program. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of security principles, exceptional organizational skills, and a strong aptitude for communication to keep teams engaged and effectively promote the program.

What you'll do here:

• Oversee and coordinate the Security Champions Program within the company.

• Work closely with development teams to incorporate security practices into the software development lifecycle.

• Organize and lead regular meetings with security champions to track progress and address any issues.

• Design and implement strategies to promote the program and ensure ongoing participant engagement.

• Establish a recognition system to reward and encourage significant contributions from security champions.

• Ensure effective and continuous communication between various stakeholders.

What you bring to the table:

• At least 5 years of experience in information technology (IT).

• Knowledge of information security principles and practices.

• Excellent project management and organizational skills.

• Proven ability to influence and motivate teams.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country. 

• No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
