Hi, I'm Alan Roth, Senior Director of Product Marketing here at Jane. I just recently joined Jane, and I lead our Product Marketing team. My team focuses on how we position Jane, understand our customers, and support meaningful growth, especially as we expand in the US. This work connects directly to Jane’s mission to help the helpers. The more clearly we tell our story and the better we understand customer needs, the more impact Jane can have on the practitioners who rely on our tools every day.
Outside of work, I spend time outdoors, travel (even to small towns nearby), and I have two daughters, aged 8 and 11.
This role is an important one. Jane is growing quickly, and we're investing in AI-powered capabilities that are changing how practitioners work. We're looking for someone who can bring strong product marketing expertise particularly in platform positioning, AI product go-to-market, and pricing strategy — along with clear communication and thoughtful collaboration to help us scale with intention. If you're energized by ownership, cross-functional partnership, and solving real customer problems, you'll find a lot to be excited about here.
What Impact We’re Looking for You to MakeLead go-to-market strategy and execution for AI-powered products and features — translate complex AI capabilities into compelling, customer-centric value propositions that drive understanding, adoption, and trust.
Drive pricing and packaging strategy — partner with Product, Finance, and CS to evaluate, propose, and refine how Jane's products are packaged and priced, grounded in customer research, competitive analysis, and willingness-to-pay insights.
Strengthen Jane's market positioning through insight-driven messaging and go-to-market plans, grounded in deep understanding of customer needs, workflows, and market dynamics.
Lead cross-functional launch programs that improve product adoption, accelerate revenue, and deliver clear, measurable business results — with particular focus on bringing AI features to market in a way that resonates with practitioners.
Translate customer and market insights into action — synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to influence product direction, roadmap priorities, and commercial strategy, including how AI capabilities are prioritized and communicated.
Build alignment across Product, Sales, Customer Support, and Marketing by communicating strategy, customer insights, and priorities with clarity — serving as the connective tissue between what we build and how we bring it to market.
Introduce repeatable frameworks that improve how we plan, execute, and measure product marketing initiatives, including structured approaches to pricing decisions and AI feature launches.
Represent Jane at key market events, conferences, and industry forums, acting as a visible market expert and advocate while supporting new customer acquisition.
5+ years in Product Marketing or a related role with experience leading cross-functional, high-impact programs.
Experience marketing AI, ML, or technology-forward products — you understand how to make complex capabilities feel accessible and valuable to non-technical buyers and end users.
Strong foundation in platform-level messaging and positioning — you've owned or significantly shaped how a multi-product platform tells its story to the market.
Hands-on experience with pricing and packaging — you've contributed to or led pricing research, packaging design, or commercial strategy and can bring a structured, data-informed approach.
Demonstrated ability to develop clear positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for complex products in competitive markets.
Strong communication and storytelling skills — able to align teams, distill complex information into clear narratives, and make AI capabilities feel tangible and trustworthy to customers.
Strong analytical and project management skills with a track record of delivering measurable business results.
If you don't meet every single qualification but are excited about this role, we'd still love to hear from you.
