As part of our mission to enhance and modernize OTR payments, we are looking for a Senior Product Manager – OTR Payments & Experience to lead a team of product managers in driving the strategy, development, and execution of our core OTR payments platform.

This role will be responsible for leading a team to enhance transaction processing, fraud prevention, and digital fleet payment solutions across web and mobile platforms. As the OTR industry becomes increasingly competitive, modernizing our payments and experience platform is critical to maintaining WEX’s leadership position. The ideal candidate will have experience in the OTR industry, with a strong understanding of fleet payments, customer needs, and industry-specific challenges.

About the Team & Impact

As a Senior Product Manager, you will not only define the vision for OTR payments and digital experience solutions but also lead and mentor a team of product managers to execute on key initiatives. This role will be instrumental in ensuring our platform remains competitive, scalable, and customer-centric, improving adoption, retention, and transaction efficiency.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of product managers, driving execution across multiple payment-related initiatives.

  • Define and execute the strategy, roadmap, and vision for OTR payments and fleet experience products.

  • Modernize our payments platform to improve transaction efficiency, security, and fraud prevention while enhancing the customer experience.

  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, risk, sales, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery of high-impact initiatives.

  • Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making, optimize product performance, and prioritize features that drive revenue growth.

  • Enhance digital experiences across web and mobile platforms to increase customer adoption and retention.

  • Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics to ensure WEX remains at the forefront of OTR payments innovation.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and customer-driven innovation within the product team.

How You’ll Lead:

What You’ll Bring:

  • 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in payments, fintech, or B2B SaaS.

  • Experience in the OTR industry is highly preferred, with knowledge of fleet payments, merchant partnerships, and industry-specific challenges.

  • Proven ability to manage and develop product teams, driving execution across multiple initiatives.

  • Strong track record of launching and scaling payment solutions, increasing transaction volume, and enhancing customer experience.

  • Experience modernizing payment platforms, implementing fraud prevention strategies, and optimizing transaction workflows.

  • Strong technical acumen with an understanding of payment processing, API integrations, and digital platforms.

  • Ability to define and execute product strategy while ensuring operational excellence.

  • Strong analytical and financial skills, using data to make informed decisions and measure success.

  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, working closely with engineering, sales, and risk teams.

  • Strong communication and storytelling abilities, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; an advanced degree is a plus.

The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
