BIMM is booming, so we’re looking for a Senior Product Manager (on contract until December 24, 2025) to join our team.
As we observe a hybrid model, this role will require you to be in office at BIMM HQ (Distillery District) up to 2 days per week.
Who we are
BIMM is a Toronto-based agency that lives at the intersection of data, technology, and creativity to provide clients with high-performing campaigns and digital products that shape connected customer experiences. We’ve helped our clients implement fully integrated CRM customer journeys, built robust digital experiences, and created national loyalty programs with decades of experience in sectors of automotive, financial, telco and retail.
We are creative realists, which means our ideas and solutions are grounded in the realities of our clients’ business. We believe big ideas are nothing without big results (and flawless execution); high-performing agencies deliver high-performing campaigns, products, and experiences; and the best solutions happen when we collaborate with clients as partners.
Who we’re looking for
You are passionate about amazing digital experiences and constantly look to make those experiences better. You have significant experience in conceptualizing, validating, and building great products and understand the importance of converting qual and quant data into winning digital experiences. You challenge stakeholders, developers, and designers to push the limits of technology and user experience, while driving towards business goals and successful outcomes.
Responsibilities
Product Ownership & Delivery
- Translate client product vision and strategy into clear, actionable deliverables that align with project scope, timeline, and budget. Serve as the central point of alignment between design, development, QA, and client teams, ensuring the product vision is clearly communicated and executed.
- Conduct workshops with cross-disciplinary and client teams to define product requirements and drive internal alignment before scope is finalized.
- Define and maintain the product backlog and a high-level delivery plan, working closely with client Product Owners to prioritize based on business impact and user needs.
- Lead product planning activities, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Facilitate quarterly digital strategy planning sessions with client stakeholders to align on goals and surface new opportunities.
Technical Acumen
- Maintain a working knowledge of system architecture and supporting technologies. Ask critical questions about data flow, business rules, and system dependencies.
- Collaborate effectively with technical leads to understand the implications of architectural decisions on product delivery.
Strategic Leadership
- Help shape and evolve product roadmaps by identifying gaps, dependencies, and forward-looking opportunities.
- Bring a proactive, future-oriented mindset—always operating a few steps ahead to anticipate needs and de-risk execution.
- Develop strong, trust-based relationships with client stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships and expand business opportunities.
Client Relationship Management
- Over-communicate consistently and transparently to ensure clients are informed of blockers, risks, tradeoffs, and progress.
- Identify and flag risks early, facilitating mitigation strategies while maintaining momentum toward delivery.
- Drive a sense of urgency across teams, balancing agility with process to ensure consistent forward progress.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a Product Management role, with at least 1 years in a Senior or Lead Product Manager capacity
- Can show tangible examples of complex products or features deployed in the market with demonstrated success
- Expertise in best practices in product management for SDLC
- Strong working knowledge with coding languages, APIs, and high-level competency in understanding system architecture (do not need to code, but understand the fundamentals)
- Proven ability to build, groom, and deliver on a product roadmap for a large-scale product, preferably in a consulting/agency fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams in Scrum and Agile environments
- Demonstrated ability to break down complex problems and drive clarity through ambiguity
- Ability to write proper user stories, including test and acceptance criteria, with a focus on clarity, measurability, and QA testability on a sprint-by-sprint basis
- Drive and initiative are evident in your career, and you have been a major contributor to the success of multiple product launches.
- Strong client and/or stakeholder relationship management experience, with an emphasis on effective communication and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated success in fundamental project management
- Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Figma, or Miro
