Your role: Senior Product Designer

Product design is changing fast. The best designers today don't wait for fully formed briefs. They talk to customers, identify problems, shape solutions, and move fast. They use AI as a force multiplier to prototype faster, synthesize insight at scale, and close the gap between what they imagine and what they put in front of a user.

At CrowdRiff, you will own a product area end-to-end, working closely with a PM and engineering team as a co-owner of product direction. You will often operate where the problem space is not fully defined. You are comfortable bringing structure, not waiting for it.

If you want to own meaningful product areas, move fast, and do some of the strongest product thinking of your career, this role is built for you.

What you'll be working on:

CrowdRiff builds software for destination marketers - the teams behind tourism boards, travel brands, and the organizations that help people discover and experience places. Our platform helps them plan content, manage their media, and tell better stories across every channel.

Our products are evolving quickly and the design problems you'll be working on include:

  • Making complex, multi-step planning workflows feel intuitive for people who live in spreadsheets today
  • Introducing AI-powered features that actually change how marketers work. Not bolt-on additions, but experiences that earn their place in the product
  • Designing across surfaces where there's no established playbook yet. New interaction patterns, new user behaviors, new ways of thinking about what the product should be
  • Unifying a platform that touches multiple workflows and user types, where coherence and clarity are ongoing design challenges
  •

What you'll do:

  • Own end-to-end design for your product area, from discovery through to shipped product
  • Work as an embedded partner with your PM and engineering team, shaping direction early and validating ideas before investing in detailed design
  • Talk to customers regularly and bring those insights directly into the design process
  • Use AI tools actively throughout your workflow to synthesize research, generate early concepts, and prototype solutions quickly
  • Identify conceptual gaps and usability challenges early, before development begins
  • Translate user needs, business priorities, and technical constraints into scalable solutions
  • Communicate design decisions clearly with stakeholders across product, engineering, and leadership
  • Contribute to a design culture that values craft, rigour, and cross-functional partnership

What you'll bring:

  • Experience leading design for a major product area, balancing user needs with business goals and technical constraints
  • Strong foundations in UX, information architecture, and interaction design
  • A natural instinct for workflow thinking. You spot conceptual gaps and edge cases before they become problems
  • Strong product judgment. You know when to go deep, when to move fast, and how to make the right tradeoffs
  • A portfolio that demonstrates product thinking and clear design rationale across end-to-end projects
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and the ability to build structure where it doesn't yet exist
  • B2B SaaS experience is a strong asset

You might be a great fit if...

  • You've used AI tools (Claude, Cursor, Figma Make, Paper, or others) to build something you wouldn't have attempted before
  • You've found yourself closing the gap between design and the final product, and you're excited by where that's going
  • You've operated where the problem wasn't handed to you, and that felt like an opportunity
  • You have opinions about what something should feel like, and you can articulate why
