Autodesk is on a journey of significant growth and transformation. To maintain and accelerate our trajectory, we need exceptional transformation leaders who can help drive our most important organizational initiatives across the go-to-market organization.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Principal Program Manager to join Autodesk’s Go-to-Market Program Management Office (GTM PMO). In this role, you will lead complex, highly visible transformation programs that span multiple functions and business priorities. You will partner with senior leaders to translate strategy into execution, align stakeholders, establish effective governance, and drive measurable business outcomes.

This role combines strong program leadership with a consulting mindset. You will step into complex and often ambiguous environments, quickly identify what matters, connect dependencies across workstreams, frame decisions, and help teams move forward with clarity and urgency.

Responsibilities
  • Drive transformation program strategy and cross-functional execution end-to-end, partnering across Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Operations, Product, and Technology to deliver key organizational initiatives and business outcomes

  • Quickly assess existing programs and execution challenges to establish clarity, alignment, and momentum

  • Establish and maintain integrated program plans and governance, including milestones, risks, dependencies, operating cadences, and executive reporting

  • Own cross-program integration, proactively managing interdependencies and driving resolution of blockers

  • Partner with senior leaders to translate strategic priorities into executable roadmaps, surface tradeoffs, and drive timely decision-making

  • Proactively identify risks and opportunities and develop actionable mitigation plans and recommendations

  • Develop and refine PMO standards, methodologies, tools, and best practices that strengthen transformation execution

  • Coach and mentor program managers supporting key strategic initiatives

Minimum Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in management consulting, strategic program management, transformation leadership, strategy and operations, PMO leadership, or go-to-market transformation

  • Proven track record managing complex, enterprise-scale programs from strategy through execution across multiple business domains

  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and drive alignment across senior executives and cross-functional teams

  • Excellent executive communication, facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with VP and executive-level leaders

  • Strong ability to manage ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and balance strategic thinking with detailed execution

The Ideal Candidate
  • Operates effectively as both a strategic consultant and hands-on program leader

  • Brings the judgment to balance rigorous program management with the flexibility needed to navigate ambiguity and evolving business priorities

  • Low ego and high impact; energized by solving complex problems and bringing diverse stakeholders together around shared outcomes

  • Asks incisive questions that surface assumptions, clarify priorities, and accelerate decision-making

  • Sees programs and transformations as interconnected systems, connecting dots across workstreams and anticipating downstream impacts
