This is an opportunity to join a forward-looking multi-year Investment Platform Transformation Program designed to deliver a modernized target operating model. This initiative will drive end-to-end modernization of technology and data capabilities, enabling streamlined processes, enhanced scalability, and improved decision-making across investment, operations, and finance teams.
The Transformation Office is responsible for all aspects of program delivery including Program and Project Management, Change Management & Communications, Transformation Design and Delivery, and Data Enablement.
Scope of Position:
As the Senior Manager, Testing Lead, you will play a pivotal leadership role in defining and delivering the quality assurance strategy for this transformation. Reporting to the Transformation Office Program SVP, you will oversee the end-to-end testing lifecycle for the Aladdin implementation, with a strong focus on strategic planning, governance and execution of Systems Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Parallel phases. Your mandate includes developing and owning the overall test strategy, setting testing standards, ensuring alignment with program objectives and driving best-in-class testing practices across multiple cross-functional teams and external partners.
You will support test scripts creation by testing teams, script execution, defect tracking, team engagement and stakeholder update communications.
You will provide expert guidance to internal and external stakeholders—including business, finance, data and technology teams, system integrators, internal controls, and consultants—ensuring that all test cycles adhere to defined scope, budget, and timeline. This role requires advanced knowledge of investment processes across IBOR and ABOR platforms, with a proven track record managing complex, large-scale transformation initiatives, and the ability to influence at senior levels across the organization
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and execution of the overall test strategy, plan, and roadmap aligned with the Daybreak Aladdin implementation.
Develop and stand-up the testing team and onboard members, fostering a high-performance team.
Act as the primary liaison between business process owners, functional and technical leads, and IT teams to define and prioritize test scope, objectives, and success criteria.
Oversee the creation, review, and approval of test cases, scripts, and scenarios, ensuring comprehensive coverage of business requirements and process flows.
Govern the execution of SIT, UAT and Parallel test cycles, ensuring rigorous quality standards, risk mitigation, and timely delivery of all testing deliverables.
Lead the defect management process, driving resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives in partnership with technical and business stakeholders.
Champion the adoption of test management tools and frameworks, ensuring consistent documentation, traceability, and real-time status monitoring.
Provide clear, executive-level reporting on testing progress, issues, risks, and mitigation strategies to program leadership and steering committees.
Make informed recommendations on go/no-go decisions based on UAT outcomes, business readiness, and risk assessments.
Qualifications:
Educational Background: University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Accounting, or related field.
Experience: 6+ years’ of progressive experience in testing, quality assurance, or related disciplines, with at least 2 years in a senior QA/ test leadership capacity overseeing large-scale transformation programs.
Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency with test management tools (e.g., DevOps, MS Project, etc) and deep understanding of investment platforms and related processes across IBOR and ABOR (e.g., Aladdin, CRD, Calypso, Eagle PACE)
Strategy & Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving, and strategic planning abilities with acute attention to detail.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, coordination, organization and stakeholder management skills.
Change Agility: Strong intellectual curiosity and adaptability to evolving investment and technology environments.
This is a 12 month fixed term direct contract (not hourly rate)
