As the Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our hiring strategy and processes. You will lead a team of 12 talent professionals, including 3 team leads overseeing recruitment for EPD, Sales, and G&A departments. Your focus will be on scaling our talent acquisition function, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring we attract and retain top talent aligned with our company values and goals.

What you’ll do:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with company growth objectives.
  • Partner with both finance and senior leadership to forecast hiring needs and create scalable recruitment plans.
  • Play a key role in shaping the future of our company by building a talented team.
  • Set clear goals and performance targets across all recruiting functions, ensuring alignment with business needs and hiring timelines.
  • Hold your team accountable to ambitious hiring targets and high standards ensuring every hire reflects our commitment to quality, impact, and long-term success.

Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing talent acquisition team.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Hold your team to a high standard of performance and excellence, ensuring we not only raise the bar internally but also hire talent that reflects that same standard.
  • Ensure optimal performance of the talent acquisition team through goal-setting, regular feedback, and performance evaluations.

Process Optimization:

  • Implement and refine recruitment processes to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.
  • Leverage data and analytics to monitor performance and drive decision-making.
  • Stay updated on recruitment best practices and leverage technology (ATS, sourcing tools, etc.) to streamline talent acquisition efforts.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work closely with senior leadership to understand hiring requirements and provide strategic guidance.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on talent acquisition best practices and market trends.

Employer Branding & Candidate Experience:

  • Collaborate with the Marketing and People Operations teams to enhance MaintainX’s employer brand through engaging job descriptions, social media presence, and recruitment marketing strategies.
  • Ensure an exceptional candidate experience from the initial contact through onboarding, positioning MaintainX as an employer of choice.

Budget & Vendor Management:

  • Manage the recruitment budget, ensuring optimal use of resources and cost-effective hiring.
  • Oversee relationships with external recruitment agencies and other third-party vendors, ensuring service levels meet company standards.

About you:

  • 10+ years in talent acquisition, with at least 5 years in a leadership/people manager role within a tech SaaS startup environment.
  • Proven track record of scaling recruitment functions in high-growth companies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
