Position Overview

Zelis is seeking a results-oriented Product Marketer to support the strategy and execution for provider payments solutions within the Payments Optimization business unit. This impactful role is responsible for driving provider growth and retention through insight-driven marketing, product commercialization, and sales enablement. The Senior Manager will contribute to business results and collaborate across functions to launch new products and features, while supporting strategic initiatives that advance provider payments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: In partnership with the VP, product marketing, develop and execute annual marketing plans that align with business objectives and market opportunities, with guidance from senior leaders.

  • Product Launch Leadership: Lead and/or support planning and execution of new product and feature launches for provider audiences, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines, and ensuring effective execution to maximize market impact and adoption.

  • Product Commercialization: Partner with product and commercial leaders to build and evolve go-to-market strategies, value propositions, and sales enablement assets that drive growth and retention.

  • Positioning and Messaging: Responsible for ensuring the positioning and messaging for the provider product portfolio reflects market and buyer insights as well as competitive context. Champion messaging internally and externally.

  • Market Intelligence & Data Analysis: Drive a research agenda to uncover provider needs, market trends, and competitive dynamics. Demonstrate comfort with data, segmenting audiences, and translating findings into actionable insights that inform strategy, product development, and targeted marketing initiatives.

  • Content Development: Collaborate with demand generation, digital, and field marketing teams to ensure messaging is consistently and effectively delivered across all channels and campaigns. Provide guidance and hands-on support to translate positioning into thought leadership, case studies, solution briefs, web content, presentations, data sheets, whitepapers, and sales playbooks.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration and Influence: Build networks and partnerships across the enterprise, influencing colleagues and stakeholders to drive alignment and results.

  • Performance Management: Develop and track product-level KPIs, manage product marketing budgets, and present marketing impact and results at business unit performance sessions.

  • Innovation & Execution: Support the creation and management of plans, product launch calendars, and marketing campaigns that address key business challenges and deliver measurable results.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience, with a strong track record in product marketing

  • Deep understanding of payer, provider, and payments landscape is a plus; channel experience with Payers and Providers strongly preferred.

  • Proven ability to define and execute product positioning, commercialization, and sales enablement strategies.

  • Demonstrated success in developing and managing marketing plans with direct impact on business results.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; adept at influencing and presenting to leaders and external partners.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or Master’s preferred.

  • Ability to travel up to 20%.

Location and Workplace Flexibility

We have offices in Atlanta GA, Boston MA, Morristown NJ, Plano TX, St. Louis MO, St. Petersburg FL, and Hyderabad, India. We foster a hybrid and remote friendly culture, and all our employee's work locations are based on the needs of the position and determined by the Leadership team. In-office work and activities, if applicable, vary based on the work and team objectives in accordance with Company policies.

Base Salary Range

$95,000.00 - $127,000.00

At Zelis we are committed to providing fair and equitable compensation packages. The base salary range allows us to make an offer that considers multiple individualized factors, including experience, education, qualifications, as well as job-related and industry-related knowledge and skills, etc. Base pay is just one part of our Total Rewards package, which may also include discretionary bonus plans, commissions, or other incentives depending on the role.
