Your Opportunity

BDO Canada is looking for a Senior Manager, National Assurance Learningto join our National Assurance Team and lead the design and delivery of impactful learning programs for our professionals nationwide. You will own the following responsibilities: 

 

*** This role can be based out of any of our Canadian office locations *** 

 

  • Plan, manage and execute projects to support the implementation of our Assurance learning strategyThis includes leading a team and tracking progress in achieving strategic training goals, as well as collaborating with others in National Assurance, business leaders, technical leaders, people-leaders and learners to ensure the Assurance service line’s training needs are effectively met; 

  • Manage the planning, designing, writing, publishing, and maintenance of courses to be delivered via web-based training (e-Learning), virtual classroom training (webcasts) and blended programs (virtual pre-requisites for live courses).  This includes managing the development and delivery of engaging and effective course materials tailored for new hires and experienced staff;   

  • Collaborate with the National Learning and Development teamto manage incorporation of innovative and leading-edge learning into all course content and delivery. This involves leveraging modern learning technologies and methodologies to enhance program effectiveness and ensure content is current and relevant;  

  • Manage the gathering and analyzing of participant and facilitator feedbackfor continuous improvement of learning programs. This includes managing collection of feedback to evaluate learning effectiveness through surveys and assessments, and reporting outcomes to highlight training impact on audit quality metrics.

Your experience and education 

  • You have obtained a CPA designation  

  • You have proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) 

  • You have strong analytical and problem solving skills 

  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills 

  • You have the ability to prioritize workloads and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
