Role Summary
The Sr. Manager CS Global Restructuring Strategy is a strategic role accountable for orchestrating the end-to-end execution of restructuring activities globally. This position serves as the central integration point for Colleague Services (CS) between People Experience (PX), Finance, Total Rewards, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Business Leaders, and Global Restructuring Program leadership. The role ensures accurate delivery of severance cost modelling, secure handling of highly sensitive workforce data, and seamless alignment between business decisions and downstream operational impacts.
This role operates in an environment of high confidentiality, complexity, and rapid change. In addition, it requires exceptional judgment, analytical capability, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders globally.
This role will promote Pfizer's Purpose, Values and the GBS culture, engaging with a global team of qualified and diverse CS colleagues at all levels.

Role Responsibilities
Leadership, Coordination and Operational Excellence
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all Global Restructuring initiatives, ensuring alignment across CS, PX, Total Rewards, Benefits, Business Units, and enterprise program leadership.
  • Coordinate cross functional workflows, timelines, and deliverables across multiple restructuring workstreams globally.
  • Partner on behalf of CS with M&A, PX, Finance, and strategy teams to prepare scenario models and provide cost and risk analysis to support leadership decision‑making.
  • Oversee severance calculations, benefits analysis, and cost modelling for global restructuring, ensuring data accuracy and providing strategic workforce insights.
  • Implement secure, compliant processes for handling confidential workforce data, while ensuring full compliance with data privacy, labour laws, Works Council mandates, and internal governance standards across all markets.
  • Enhance and standardize CS processes to support global restructuring, drive operational improvements in data and communication, and facilitate transformation and integration initiatives.
  • Effectively manage evolving business scenarios by delivering prompt impact assessments, collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure decisions meet policy and operational standards, and resolving escalations to minimize restructuring risks.

Stakeholder Management

  • Facilitate discussions with the Sr. Director E2E Restructuring Lead, regional leaders, and functional SMEs to support program execution.
  • Represent CS in cross‑functional restructuring forums and governance routines.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in a Global Business Services environment / Payroll leadership / Employee Data Management / Total Rewards process execution leadership
  • Effectively manage evolving business scenarios by delivering prompt impact assessments, collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure decisions meet policy and operational standards, and resolving escalations to minimise restructuring risks.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem‑solving capability.
  • Ability to operate with the strictest confidentiality and handle privileged information.
  • Proven ability to succeed in fast‑paced, ambiguous, and high‑pressure environments.
  • Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
  • Effectively manage evolving business scenarios by delivering prompt impact assessments, collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure decisions meet policy and operational standards, and resolving escalations to minimise restructuring risks.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Business, Finance, HR, or related field.
  • Experience with Workday or other HR Information Systems
  • Understanding of collective labour agreements/labour laws
  • Demonstrated experience supporting M&A workforce activities or global restructuring programs.
  • Experience in data modelling, analytics, and scenario planning.
