What you’ll be doing

As a Sr. Manager of the Internal Audit Data Analytics team, you will lead efforts to transform complex data into accessible, understandable, and actionable insights for our stakeholders. You will leverage design thinking, process design, and user experience methodologies to develop intuitive dashboards that empower users with valuable analytics and insights. Your hands-on experience with Django Web framework , Python ,SAS, Power Platform, BI dashboards (Power BI, ThoughtSpot), Azure technologies (including Azure Data Factory, Databricks), and ETL processes will be crucial in this role.

How you’ll succeed

  • Stakeholder Management- As an expert in data management, collaborate closely with stakeholders to discern intricate business requirements and seamlessly translate them into intuitive and visually compelling user experiences
  • Project management and process design – Be able to look for ways to optimize and streamline processes to enhance efficiencies. A good understanding of User Interface and User Experience (UI/UX) design is preferred.
  • Be curious and creative– Demonstrate the ability to innovate and an aptitude to try new concepts, interpret themes and insights, and design an experience that makes complex insights more intuitive for the users.
  • Technical and data modeling – Be able to find meaningful insights and design intuitive visualizations, utilizing your hands-on experience with Power BI and other BI tools.
  • Data management – Assist the director and the analytics team to source and manage new data sources for projects and ongoing audit engagements, including Django, Python, Power Platform, ETL processes and Azure Data Factory.
  • Stay current with best practices in Internal Audit – Constantly look for ways to improve user experience and insights consumption. Stay up to date with industry best practices in storytelling/data visualization, user experience, machine learning, and big data analytics. Actively identify current and emerging trends, themes, and topics in Internal Audit analytics to enable our auditors to be effective.

Who you are

  • You have extensive experience in Python, including 2 – 3 years in data analysis and web application design. Hands-on experience with the Django web framework is essential.
  • You can demonstrate experience. In data design and transformation, web development, and UX & UI development.
  • You are analytical. Familiarity with languages such as HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, Alteryx, and SAS is beneficial.
  • You give meaning to data. Strong practical experience in Power BI and other BI tools for effective data visualization and insights. Strong practical experience in Power Platform including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse. Hands-on experience with Azure technologies such as Databricks and Azure Data Factory. Background in AI/ML will enhance contributions to the team.
  • You have a degree/ diploma. Degree/diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, and/or a related field of study.
