The Impact of a Senior Internal Communications Manager at Coupa:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager of Internal Communications to lead and elevate our internal messaging and engagement strategies within our Value Services organization. In this role, you will develop and execute communication plans that align with business objectives, support change management initiatives, and foster a connected, informed, and motivated workforce aligned to Coupa’s vision and values.
What You'll Do:
- Act as a trusted advisor to our Chief Customer Officer and the Values Services leadership team on communication best practices and messaging approaches, providing strategic counsel on effective messaging, timing, and communication channels to maximize employee understanding and engagement around functional goals and initiatives.
- Partner closely with HR, Value Services Business Director, and leaders across departments to understand key priorities, coordinate communication efforts, and ensure alignment across the organization.
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive internal communication strategies that support organizational goals and cultural initiatives while supporting the Chief Customer Officer through the development of messaging for town halls, major announcements, culture communications, and organizational changes.
- Manage any function-specific internal communication channels such as intranet site, Slack channels, newsletters, or town halls while working in partnership with other Corporate Communications team to ensure consistent messaging, avoid duplication, and maximize impact.
- Develop and implement new communication formats, measure effectiveness through surveys and analytics, and stay current on trends and best practices in internal communications and employee engagement.
What You Will Bring to Coupa:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in internal or corporate communications, including managing complex projects and change initiatives.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in using a variety of digital communication platforms and tools.
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build strong relationships with senior leadership.
The estimated pay range for this role is $128,775 - 175,000
The starting salary for the successful candidate will be based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
