In addition to our recent growth in Federal Civilian agencies, we are seeking to expand our capabilities in cloud development and footprint in national-security focused agencies within the Department of Defense and U.S. Intelligence Community.


CTEC is seeking a Senior Instructional Designer to join our remote team, with candidates located in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

Job Description: Leads the design and development of comprehensive learning solutions for complex Social Security policies and procedures. Conducts needs assessments, creates instructional strategies, and develops curriculum that meets federal training standards. Collaborates with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and effectiveness of learning materials and delivery methods.

  • Master's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field with 7+ years of experience
  • Expert knowledge of ADDIE, SAM, and other instructional design methodologies approved for federal use
  • Experience designing training for complex government policies and procedures (benefits, healthcare, disability)
  • Proficiency in federal-approved authoring tools (Articulate, Captivate, or government-sanctioned platforms)

Security clearance eligibility and experience with controlled unclassified information (CUI) handling

Clearance: Must be able to Obtain Public Trust Clearance.
