The HR Senior Project Manager is an advanced subject matter expert, responsible for the planning, execution and delivering a range of of complex programs related to HR management within scope, budget, and timeline. 

The role manages multiple related projects, coordinating cross functional teams, managing resources, and ensuring the program's success by utilizing effective project management methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drives the execution of HR-related projects and programs
  • Ensures that HR projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
  • Engages with key stakeholders to drive project / program success.
  • Oversees a program portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Clearly articulates complex ideas to diverse audiences and navigates disagreements and finds win-win solutions.
  • Builds consensus among stakeholders with varying interests.
  • Tracks, monitors and reports on HR program and project progress to ensure successful execution
  • Contributes to the establishment and maintains an organized framework for managing projects.
  • Defines project / program scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Contributes to the development of project / program plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Identifies and manages project / program dependencies, risks and issues.
  • Identifies potential roadblocks and takes proactive measures to keep the project / program on track.
  • Conducts regular meetings and provides project / program updates to stakeholders.
  • Engages and communicates with key stakeholders to understand project / program requirements, expectations, and changes.
  • Fosters positive relationships and ensures alignment on project / program objectives.
  • Allocates resources effectively to meet project / program goals.
  • Ensures project / program deliverables meets quality standards and fulfils customer requirements.
  • Identifies project risks and develops risk mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitates knowledge transfer and lessons learned sessions to improve future program execution.
  • Performs any other relevant task as required.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in business management, human resources, or a related field
  • Professional Project Management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2
  • Understanding of human resources responsibilities, processes, operations, and policies will benefit but not a requirement
  • Solid proficiency in standard office and project management software, such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Visio
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies i.e. familiarity with the Service Now SNI/SPM tool will be
    beneficial

Required experience:

  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines
  • Proven success working with all levels of management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Advanced experience overseeing projects through the full life cycle.
  • Advanced demonstrable experience working in a similar position in a global organization.
  • Advanced demonstrated experience in working closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders at different levels in the business.
  • Advanced stakeholder engagement experience at all levels in the organization.
